2020 Australian Transplant Games

The  Board of Directors has continued with the ‘safety-first’ approach and decided to postpone the already postponed Australian Transplant Games further so it is now scheduled for Launceston, Tasmania, in April 2022. An Australian games only works if all states and territories and our New Zealand cousins can participate and at this stage it is not possible to confidently predict that all borders will be open in April 2021. We are also conscious that our recipient members need time to regain their confidence to travel and from discussions with our State Chairs it just does not appear that confidence will have returned early next year.
