The team won 11 medals – 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 6 Bronze. Matthew Mokoroa created two World records for cricket ball throw (77.14m) and shot put (10.73) in his age category. The New Zealand team finished 24th out of 49 participating countries on the medal tally. Sponsorship was received from Infinity Foundation and The Johnsonville Club.
